Long awaited post

Wow, almost a month ago since I last blogged.

Ok, quick post before I have to go get ready to go out to dinner with Okkar.

FINALLY!!! I HAVE INTERNET IN MY FLAT! :) :) :)

I heard this song on the new BT advertisement on TV and I'm in love with it! It's called Corner by Allie Moss, and it's such a gorgeous tune.

When your world trembles and quakes
And your footing suddenly shifts and shakes

Take my hand
We'll hide in the corner, hide in the corner
Take my hand
We'll hide till it's over, till it's all over

We have choices to make
We have promises that we can't break

There is nothing left to lose
So hold on to me, I'll hold on to you

Take my hand
We'll hide in the corner, hide in the corner
Take my hand
We'll hide till it's over, till it's all over

So, it's been just over a month since moving into the new flat. I really like it here. If I get a job in Nottingham, I might renew my contract for this flat. It's in a good location and spacious enough. The only drawback is the traffic noise from the road outside. I've almost forgotten what it's like to live in a quiet place.

Things so far are going great. Stuart and I have our ups and downs but it's all part and parcel of being a couple. That's what I love about being in a relationship. Yes, I know it sounds silly that I like the fact that we argue sometimes, but I think it's good for a couple to argue. In fact, arguing is just creative discussion :D Ok whatever. (You can tell I don't actually have a clue what I'm writing, I'm just typing whatever comes to mind as I'm sitting here on the sofa.)We've been talking with his friends David and Hayley about going to Prague for a holiday in January or February. I've never been before but always wanted to, so it'll be good. I just need to have my visa by then so I can actually go in and out of the UK easily.

Job-wise, that's going a bit slow for now. I've put a few applications through but nothing solid has come about yet. Plus, before I actually get my visa it'll be hard to get a job. Might do some work at the charity shop or get a part-time job. Christmas is coming up (CAN'T WAIT!!!) so maybe I can find some temp jobs to earn some extra cash.

Stu and I have been going through How I Met Your Mother pretty fast. Last weekend, we finished half of Season 1 and all of Season 2 (with Stu very drunk on a bottle of JD on Season 2). This weekend will probably be spent doing that. I like weekends where we just sprawl out on the couch and do nothing but watch TV episodes and movies. :)
