Shopping!

Ok, so I think I kind of went a little overboard with the shopping today. Big oops.

Got up at 9 this morning (very proud of myself, seeing as how I went to bed at about 3.30am!), and finished up my interim report as best as I could. Handed it in around 12.30pm, and then made my way to town.

I had every intention to just get a pair of jeans that I actually need and then some groceries.

But there were freakin' 'Sale!' signs EVERYWHERE!!!

I was in Victoria Centre first, so I walked around for a bit, trying to control myself from walking into EVERY store.

That lasted for about 10 minutes.

I went into La Senza first and spent a good half an hour in there. Walked out with nearly £33 worth of lingerie. (Hey, I actually needed them! Plus they were on sale, so it was well worth it.)

Then I went into Republic, where I bought 2 summery tops. Hey, for a tenner each, they were a damn steal!

I went into Topshop, and walked out without buying anything. Was immensely proud of myself.

So of course, I rewarded myself by going into Lipsy. Lipsy dresses are so gorgeous! But oh so expensive! That's why when I saw the 'Sale' sign in the window, I immediately rushed in. They don't often do sales. I bought a lovely pink corset, which is my favourite buy today. It was £15 cheaper than the original price, still a little pricey, but I think it was well worth it, because it's one of those rare pieces of clothing that make me look good and feel comfortable at the same time. :)

I was all ready to go home after that, but Miss Selfridge caught my eye with their '50% off' sign so I obliged. Found the jeans that I needed! At only £10.80 (after beautiful 10I% student discount, on top of the sale price!), it's definitely a steal! I love being a student!

I very diligently ignored Aldo's '70% off' sign, and walked into Primark. Got new bed sheets and a duvet cover set, because the ones I have right now drive me insane 'cos they keep slipping off the mattress and every morning I have to fit them back again. I totally meant to get just those, but I wandered into the shoe section and a pair of studded black boots caught my attention. They're now sitting on my shoe rack. :)

After that, my arms felt kind of tired with all the shopping bags, so I decided to hit Tesco Express before heading home.

When I reached home, I suddenly remembered that Asos had delivered the stuff I'd ordered yesterday.

Felt REALLY guilty then.

But, guilt flew straight out the window once I opened up the huge box and started trying on my stuff. I'm quite happy with most of the clothes I ordered. Not so sure about the dress I bought, and definitely sending back the fringed sandals.

So, all together, I have 5 new tops, a new skirt, new jeans, a new dress, new boots, a bunch of new lingerie, a new shrug cardigan, a new lip balm, a new eyeliner, and 2 new bags.

I don't even want to know how much I spent. Sigh.

I need to stop spending money.

Such perfect lyrics! This is why lyrics are so important. The tune can be crap, but if the lyrics are good, it wouldn't matter! Ok, fine, the tune has to be good to, but lyrics come first. The last line is my favourite part of the song, the way he sings it. :)
